Extract the text from DOC, RTF, PDF etc documents and save it in TXT.

If what you want is actually only the text of a document and you don't care about the format you have it in, then what you need is this Make TXT.

Make TXT allows you to convert any document (DOC, RTF, PDF, etc) directly to plain ASCII text, ie a simple TXT file format, eliminating all non-ASCII characters found in the original file. Thus, many of the texts are more readable and it's more convenient access to information.

The TXT file created by Make TXT can be read by any editor, though it's advisable to do it with Windows Notepad.
